On May 12, 2017 Science North is hosting a robotics day for French and English students in grade 4 to 10. This full day event will have students immersed in programming that uses EV3 Lego robots and iPads. Students will be engaged with challenges and use their problem-solving, teamwork and inquiry skills to complete the task!
Participants will discover various topics such as programming concepts, how a computer reads and runs a set of instructions and why syntax matters. They will get to innovate, collaborate and think critically to complete their challenge!
On May 13 & 14 and May 20 & 21, 2017 Science North will extend this learning experience to general visitors through robotics learning labs. Public visitors will be invited to celebrate STEM with our Bluecoats by participating in these exciting workshops.
